Irina Voronina is all over the place, the voluptuous goddess appearing in Vogue, Bazaar, in those super sexy Sky Vodka ads, on the Hard Rock Café billboards, and even tempting me in some of those life-sized displays for Miller beer.

Irina is best known for her work in Playboy, where she was chosen as Playmate of the Month in January 2001. She also modeled for Perfect 10 magazine.

"There is no modeling industry in Russia," said the beauty, her English only slightly broken.

Young Irina sought more than the chill of Siberian air.

"I went to Milan by myself when I was 16 and spent about three years there. I guess it is every girl's dream to be a model so I decided to try it out. I've never had a casting couch experience in the U.S., but there is a lot of that in Milan with young, stupid girls. I don't believe it gets you anywhere," she said.

Her charisma and obvious charms have conquered the States, elevating her to the coveted status of sex symbol.

"I don't feel like some sex symbol," she said, laughing. "Other people looking at my pictures might think I am a sex symbol, but I don't wake up with a mirror in front of my face. The way you feel inside is quite different from the way you are on the outside. I have very few friends who know me quite well. I'm pretty outgoing, but I don't usually open up to strangers."

While her Savvy photo shoot shows us a steamy side of the model/actress, Irina doesn't mind showing her fans even more skin. Having "Miss January" on your resume sort of gives that one away.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with doing nudes as long as it's printed in the right publication, so it's not like you're walking down the street naked. I don't mind having nude photographs of myself out there for people to enjoy, and the Savvy photo shoot was a lot of fun," she said.

While she is proud of her accomplishments as a model, Irina wants more.

"I'm trying to get into acting," she said. "I had a couple of role in small movies. I don't know if appearing in Playboy helps or hurts an acting career because right now it doesn't matter at all. It all comes down to my acting abilities, and I don't bring it up that I was a Playmate because it's not appropriate. I'm sure that at some point it will hurt unless I audition for a show like Baywatch.

"I'd love to play a James Bond type character, a Russian spy. So far, my movie offers have been playing a stripper, hooker, band groupie, or a foreign exchange student because of my accent," she said.

Since we interviewed her in 2004, Irina has done a great deal of acting work in such things as Epic Movie, Reno 911! Miami, and "Entourage."

She told us about her goals before marriage.

"Generally, I think men shouldn't even think about getting married before they're 40 because by then, they know what they want and they treat you the way you're supposed to be treated. They're been around, they've tried things and they know what they want, not necessarily sexually but knowing what kind of partner they want to be with. Girls definitely shouldn't get married right out of high school."

What sort of guy rings her bell, so to speak?

"I've always been attracted to older men. Older men know how to make me happy and how to be happy themselves. My fiancé right now is 18 years older than I am. Most men make the mistake of trying to create a personality just to impress a woman," Irina said, offering tips to guys eager to meet a catch just like her.

"(Men) try all kinds of things when it's just better to be yourself and find the right person. My fiance wrote a song about me, the day we met, and it kind of concreted my heart."
