Name: Renee Prusak
Birthplace: Belleville, Ontario, Canada
Now Lives: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Birthday: May 15
Stats: 34D-24-34, 5'6", 117 lbs., blue eyes, black hair
Renee Prusak, the January 2007 winner of Savvy's "Is She Hot?" contest, has her sights set on becoming a homicide detective -- we can't imagine anyone we'd rather have investigating our grisly murder than this sexy Canadian.
"I am a full-time model and actress now, but if I was not doing this, I would be a homicide detective," she told Savvy. "I've always wanted to be a police officer."
If we were breaking the law, we'd have to let her catch us so she could slap on the 'cuffs and frisk us!
Renee has stuck around Savvy since winning the contest, occasionally posting video blogs to introduce us to some of her girlfriends, usually after having a few drinks. It's okay, we love a girl who knows how to have fun!
Her career took off when she won the Miss Teen Red Deer pageant at age 18 and followed this up by winning Miss Tourism Alberta and Miss Tourism Canada. She's been crowned Miss Petite Canada, Miss Hawaiian Tropic, Miss Alberta Oktoberfest, and Miss Edmonton Rush. She appeared in the Canadian version of FHM magazine and is set to appear in a movie opposite Eva Mendes and Ryan Seacrest.
She let Savvy interrogate her a little bit...
Savvy: We understand you were once a waitress. Any funny stories?
Renee: I was serving a table of 6 extremely handsome guys, and they all ordered their drinks, and when I went to repeat back what they had ordered, I said, " Ok, so that's two beers, a jug of draft, and 3 rum and cocks". (Laughs)
Savvy: Freudian slip? (Laughs)
Renee: I know, I am an idiot!! I should have said 3 rum and cokes, but out of my mouth, came "3 rum and cocks"... YIKES!
Savvy: Judging from your video blogs, you like to cut loose and have fun. Since people know of you, do they assume what you are like without meeting you?
Renee: People assume that I will be stuck up, rather stupid, more like an air head, and they assume I am just about sex 24/7. I am not any of this. People are shocked when they realize I have a brain on my shoulders and that I'm full of spunk and not a push over. I work very hard to keep my body in shape and I am very cautious with my sex life.
Savvy: So no one-night stands?
Renee: Not anymore.
Savvy: Bad experiences with men?
Renee: I love men, but guys are wolves in sheep's clothing. I seem to run into a lot of liars and cheaters. I put my heart out and let down my barriers with this one guy, and he put my heart in the blender and pushed "frappe". (Laughs)
Savvy: Ouch!
Renee: Honestly, these days, I prefer a coffee date to be the first date because I can escape if need be.
Savvy: We know the feeling! What kind of guys are you attracted to?
Renee: I like my guy to be at least 6 feet tall, have a dark complexion and dark hair, muscles, and love to work out -- but not too bulky. He must have a even proportioned body, and MUST MUST be smart and witty or I will walk all over him! (Laughs) I get really turned on when a guy smells good. He must also love animals as much as I do. I am very spicy, so it takes a special guy to be able to handle that.
Savvy: And the perfect date for you?
Renee: A perfect date for me would include me and my guy at the Toronto Maple Leafs game, sipping on a beer, and after the game is over -- and the Leafs win, of course -- we go for a night ride on the bike. OR another version: a perfect date would be a picnic in the mountains with a nice bottle of wine.
Savvy: So you've actually done that?
Renee: I was dating this guy, a celebrity here in Edmonton, and we were out with a bunch of his teammates. He was being so sweet with little touches under the table or whispers in my ear, and then when he got up to go the bathroom, he didn't come back. About 10 minutes later, one of his security guards came and escorted me out the back door of the club where my guy was waiting in his car. He had my favorite bottle of wine waiting with a note attached that said, "You will find two wine glasses at your destination. Under the two wine glasses will be a special note...". We opened the wine bottle at his house and under the wine glass was a note leading me to the new lingerie he bought for me. You can figure out the rest of the story...
Savvy: Sexy. What's the sexiest thing you've ever done?
Renee: Probably when I was having dinner at a restaurant, I slipped my panties off in the restroom, and when I returned to the table, I gave the panties to my boyfriend under the table.
Savvy: Oh wow... Got any sex advice for our readers?
Renee: Guys, think of the woman! (Laughs) Stop thinking with your peckers! (Laughs) You should be able to read what kind of mood she's in. If it is time to be romantic, then do so with soft kisses, especially to her lower back. If it is time to be spontaneous, just grab her and throw her on the bed!
Savvy: So you like aggressive, quickie sex sometimes?
Renee: Quickies are hot, and I love the aggressive types. I like things that would make your jaw drop because I am adventurous in bed.
Savvy: If you aren't into hooking up, what does a guy have to do to get in your pants?
Renee: (Laughs) What a question! He must prove to me that he is deserving and respects me. He needs to know the little things: my favorite color, my middle name... He can't just want to be with me because of my status.
Savvy: Ah, the fame game... Do you get recognized when you go out in public or harassed by the tabloids?
Renee: You sacrifice your privacy when you're in the public eye, but I've been able to support my parents though my modeling career, so that's okay.
Savvy: If you were running the government, what would you change?
Renee: I'm very passionate about the SPCA and have been pushing our government to create stronger punishment for people who abuse animals.
Savvy: You like the critters, eh?
Renee: I want to have lots of animals besides me. I once stole a dog out of a backyard because he was being abused. I used a chain cutter, and then I loaded him up in the truck and raced off to a good acreage where the family was very pleased to take care of him. My sister and I pulled all that off in the wee hours of the morning. (Laughs)
Savvy: You do seem to have a good heart. What else can you tell us about yourself?
Renee: I'm flirty... sporty... spontaneous... sassy...
Savvy: You sound like the Spice Girls! (Laughs)
Renee: (Laughs) I have A.D.D. so I get bored pretty quickly. I like to be outdoors camping, fishing, hunting, going on the quad or a ride to the beach on the Ducati 1098. I also love to bake and cook.
Savvy: How did your Savvy photo shoot go?
Renee: My trip to Atlanta was definitely a highlight for me personally. I wouldn't mind moving there. I really hope this Savvy pictorial extends my career, hopefully gets me noticed by Playboy. That's a classic! I hope that all the fans enjoy these pictures and realize they made the right decision in choosing me to win the "Is She Hot?" contest.
Savvy: We were surprised when you told us you're a gospel musician.
Renee: Right, I sing with my father, sister and three other band members in a Bluegrass gospel band. I've been dancing since I was 3 years old: ballet, tap, jazz, salsa, tango, cha cha, and belly dancing.
Savvy: You're also a ring girl?
Renee: I've been involved in the "King of the Cage Fights", and I am in the running for the spokesmodel for Starfire Promotions, which supplies girls for UFC.
Savvy: Any advice for girls just getting into modeling?
Renee: Be very careful. Set boundaries and STICK by them, don't be easily persuaded to do something that won't help your career. Keep a good head on your shoulders and remember your roots. My advice for women in general? Be secure in yourself and realize you don't need a man to survive. You can want one and it is nice, but be independent and know how to take care of yourself. Then the man becomes more like a super great bonus.
Savvy: Thanks Renee. Hope you keep doing those great v-blogs! I'll pull out my Bacardi Rum and do shots with you, girl!
Renee: (Laughs)
